We make the slings for our aluminium furniture with a special material made from PVC coated polyester. The material also contains a UV stabiliser to enhance the colour resistance to the effect of the sun.

Using these fabrics means our slings are strong and durable as well as mildew resistant, flame retardant and low maintenance.

Aluminium is lightweight and for this reason, we have included it in our range. The aluminium is double powder-coated polyester with UV stabiliser that will provide colour fastness and prevent oxidation and ensure it gives long service and resistance to chipping.

One of the best ways to keep your garden room fabrics looking good and to delay the need for vigorous cleaning is to hose them off on a monthly basis during the summer season with clean water. This practice will help prevent dirt from becoming deeply imbedded in the fabric and eliminate the need for more vigorous cleaning at a later date. In most environments thorough cleaning will be needed every year prior to the summer season.

Garden room fabric should be cleaned on the frame and not be washed in a machine.

Brush off loose dirt

Hose down with clean cold water

Prepare a cleaning solution of a mild, natural soap
   (not a detergent) in water

Apply the cleaning solution using a soft bristle brush

Allow the soap to soak in

Rinse thoroughly with clean cold water

Air dry only and never apply heat to the fabric

We recommend removing cushion covers from the cushions for cleaning and putting them in a washing machine at the labelled temperature.

Our fabrics will not support the growth of mildew, but dirt on the fabric can lead to mildew growth, this makes regular cleaning important. There is no set frequency for the cleaning of the fabric, which is largely determined by the local environment and the frequency and care with which it is used.

The fabrics are not waterproof but are water repellent. This means that during the manufacturing process a water repellent finish is applied to the fabric. The wear resulting from normal usage and cleaning will slowly reduce the effectiveness of this finish. If your fabric remains constantly exposed to the elements and water repellency is a factor then we suggest that you re-treat your fabrics after vigorous cleaning with a water repellent treatment or fabric guard, available from marine shops.

No, our furniture can be left outdoors, uncovered, all year round.
(Sojag Inc. Advise us That: the Marble Tables will require covering and protection from Frost due to grout cracking during heavy frost) however I have Marble in Garden for two seasons and have not experienced grout cracking, it could be the extreme cold frosts of the Canadian climate?

Yes, all products come with a 3 year warranty on the structure for chairs and a 1 year for cast aluminium chairs and all tables, seat slings, stitching, synthetic rattan.

Yes, we will be carrying all spare parts for all our furniture, here in the UK for three years past the point of withdrawing any of our ranges on an annual basis. There is a cost for spares out of warranty and postage costs too.
